I have every school picture my brother ever took but me…I have no idea where they are. So this is what I got…me on Halloween at Ralph M. Captain School circa 1st grade. I think I was some kind of Indian Fairy Princess.

It’s my blackberry and I hate it. It is definitely an inadequate piece of equipment. I know I should have an I phone but I will not pay 120/month that is just stupid. This is my first email phone. I am what they call a late bloomer in many respects. I almost got a sidekick and it is 2011.

My senior show in college was definitely a defining moment in my life. It was one of the rare times where I was completely connected to the audience and the performance all at once.

Kaya Toast from Street. I can barely speak right now. This is the most amazing dish in the world. Yes I will say that. Basic components are white bread, coconut jam, butter, sugar, soft egg and dark soy sauce. This dish is godly. This is what Jesus ate.

Wow. This was a tough one. This picture is my whole family (dad’s side) taken in front of the house my Grandma grew up in. The whole family piled into my step mom’s suburban and my dad gave us a tour of all the highlights of his childhood in Quincy, IL. It was so amazing to be with everyone and laugh and cry so much.

Slimmons Studio. This class and this man. Oh my lord. So inspiring. I seriously cried. There are about 75 people in his classes. If you are ever in Los Angeles on a Tuesday, Thursday, or Saturday you must experience this. He takes pictures with each person after every class! But if you are a man beware…he will take your shirt off you.

Ah the glory days. So I was technically 18 and it is true I am 27…though in one measly month I will be 28. But come on. Who can say they were a mermaid? These pictures are hot. I wish I appreciated how perky my boobs were.

Five Car Stud

I visited LACMA this past weekend for the first time. Five Car Stud was by far my favorite exhibit. This was a powerful piece. Five cars with blaring headlights shining on four white men tying down and ripping open a black man. White women sitting in the passenger seats cringing. The room was cooled to a desert night.
